How is the "pro controller" 's D-pad so bad? Any old school 2-D platformer OR fighting game fan will tell you how important it is to press Left and not also go Up or Down. Or Press Down and not also be pressing diagonally to the Right or Left. This is the glaring flaw in the official and too expensive pro controller. This 8bitdo Ultimate C controller has a D-pad that works as good as Nintendo's USE to work. It also has gyro (motion) controls and all the buttons are easy to navigate due to their placement. It's super easy to sync to your Switch, has a long battery life, feels good in the hands and built well.. I had to buy 4 other Switch controllers until I found this one. It's better than Nintendo's own controller and it's half the price. I never thought that I'd be saying that one day, but it's true. For those frustrated with the official Nintendo Pro Controller's bad D-Pad, buy this instead.
