This and another on Amazon seem to be only artificial flavoring and food coloring!** A: Whatever this is, it's nasty!!! Takes half a bottle to flavor a 16 ounce (non-alcoholic) drink, and then the drink tastes like it should be in a brown paper bag in a winos hand. **Q: Is the color of the extract clear?** A: yes, but ive seen it darken a bit after you open it. In my experience it tastes exactly the same whether its been opened or not and hasnt changed the color of what i use it in **Q: Could this be used in soap?** A: This is an alcohol based, cooking and baking extract. I purchased this for use in making peach flavored homemade ice cream, but this extract neither tastes nor smells even remotely close to peach! I tried different quantities in several batches just to see whether or not it would make a difference, but it did not. The extract smells and tastes more like a fake bubble gum flavor... kind of like that numbing agent used before the Novocaine shot at the dentist.
