It adds a fun element to computer work. My first thought was 'what a flimsy piece of junk and waste of money' . I definitely thought the price should have been more like $1.- $2.99 at the highest.But, the product fits perfect on my Acer R-11 Chromebook. Installation was basically - lay it on.Does not feel funny or interfere with typing/use of keyboard.Offers piece of mind for all the crumbs and possible splash/spills that I have something in place attempting to add a protective layer.In my line of work my hands are often still somewhat oily as I check out customers and on prior laptops some of the letters/numbers would mysteriously go away. I purchased this as a preventative for that, the rest is a bonus.Giving it a 5-star for now, very good product idea and we'll see how it holds up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good insurance *by A***I on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2018* Tried out one of these on my work's ancient MacBook Pros (15" & 17" 2009 models ) and liked them so much that I decided to slap one on on my work's new Acer Chromebook R13. The fit is very nice, and it doesn't add to resistance when typing by any noticeable amount.As anyone who works in IT can attest, when used keyboards/laptops come back to IT for various reasons, you can quickly tell when one was used for a while by a woman. The special creams/lotions they use on their hands seem to love eating plastic. I've had keyboard come back where some of the black keys were completely clear/translucent on top. Would be great if we could offer these to staff...While the cover doesn't 'seal' against the chassis (it lays on top, with a somewhat 'static' like cling), it can help minimize liquid damage if the keyboard/laptop is tilted promptly after an oops. Plus you can easily take it off and rinse the top off under water, just make sure the bottom isn't all wet before you put it back on :)Overall, this is a great product for the price if you like your keyboards clean. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It took me a minute to figure out what I did wrong, but it works! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2018* It doesn't stick, won't stay on. I would love to be able to say I followed the directions but it didn't have any. It does fit the R 13 chrome book but it falls off if you move it. One star for being made of silicone and one star for it being the right shape. Minus three stars for the fact that air from my desk fan removes it. Maybe I screwed up, but I think not. Ok, nope and nope I did screw up. It is very important that both surfaces be completely clean of dust and finger oil so after cleaning with alcohol and carefully cleaning the channel around the key board I put it back on with the silicone carefully pushed around the keys and the inner channel of the keyboard.
