I was worried a little bit before I purchased it especially after I read some reviews. But I really like it :)Unlike other recorder I currently have, it has a simple design and light weight. Also it provides a strong MagSafe attachment. I shook several times and it won't fall off. The recorder operates easily and using it is quite functionally straightforward. I used to use Apple Watch to record but from now on I can record easily and practically with this.

To use this thing, you have to use their clunky app, which is extremely non-intuitive.After making a call, you will show no recordings in the directory but if you turn it off and turn it back on again and reconnect then you will see some files you can download and once you download them, then they show up in the application.That doesn’t make any sense, but that’s not even the worst part. The absolute dealbreaker with this thing is it DOES NOT record the other party. So when you listen to the playback, you’re only listening to yourself.That’s literally the reason to buy this thing is to record calls and it only records you. as if that wasn’t bad enough, my first trial call the battery was at 74%, my call lasted about 20 minutes, when I was done my battery was at 12%.Don’t get this thing. Trust me.

While it does record calls well in manual mode, automatic mode leaves something to be desired. With a full charge and automatically recording one 5 minute phone call the device was down to 7% battery. Bluetooth does not register in Bluetooth settings normally and every time you launch the app it must be paired to the phone again. File transfer from Magmo to phone uses some sort of WiFi direct transfer that fails and has to be re launched several times. While it does work best in manual mode it’s really no better than the original Magmo. Call recordings are clear for me however and I believe it may have to do with the type of case that’s on your phone. Overall it’s a beta device that needs refinement in the app and firmware before it can even be considered a finished product. At this point it’s hard to recommend. The jury is still out on whether to keep it and hope for updates or to just return it.

Not only is the item, the Magmo Pro, not ready for market (as of this writing), but it simply does not do what it says it does. The quality of the recording is garbage. There is no meaningful difference between this device and the original Magmo. Neither adequately documents conversations; the recordings are useless. The only solid device that does this (to date) with an iPhone is the pr-200. Even when the manufacturer finally makes this unit, the Magmo Pro, actually work with its app, it will never deliver quality audio recordings. Save your money.

Great addition to my tech arsenal! The Magmo Pro has streamlined my podcast recording process. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that I wish the storage capacity were a bit larger.

I needed a way to record calls on my iphone, and it does the job. It also looks great on my iphone, blends well and doesn't really bother as much as I thought. The mobile app can be improved for better experience but overall I'm quite satisfied with the product!

It's seriously a game changer! I love how easy it is to slap on my phone. The audio quality is legit but putting it frankly I didn’t expect that much tho. more muffled convos or missed deets which is huge plus for me. It’s not all positive, sometimes magnet could be tad stromg but it’s minor thing. Overall, I legitly satisfied with the quality of sounds for well using on my work climate. Good deal..!

I highly recommend this recording device.I bought it because iPhones do not support call recording, and it was a great choice.The recording quality is good, and it's easy to review recordings.With so many voice phishing and scams happening these days, I strongly recommend this for not only business owners but anyone who needs to discuss important matters over the phone securely.

It does work if you follow the instructions. It’s handy device to have however it is a bit expensive for what it is. It depends on how much you will use it.In summary, it works.

Not working properly for iPhones I’m not happy with this product do not recommend people to buy

Connecting the bluetooth was hit and miss with the app, after a few tries the bluetooth did connect but the firmware update required to download the recordings kept failing. Spent more than an hour factory resetting the device and bluetooth (as the instruction suggested) and still did not work.Also, each call seems to have to be downloaded for it to be saved to the app and with the app being so clunky. I've attempted to download a call I thought was recorded and it was really slow & couldn't complete the downloads, so even if the product did work for me, it's unproductive and redundant.Not worth the price.

On auto call record the battery is dead in under two hours. The record quality isn’t that bad tbh, but you need to play with the settings to get this to the best audio without the surrounding sound interfering.The battery life needs to be at least 8 hours, I’d use a power pack if I could but a this maglocks and needs to be attached to the phone to record it’s not really a valid option.To the manufacturer maybe a specific charge bank for the unit would be an option if it’s not possible to upgrade the battery?
