Probably my bad for not reading the dimensions. It takes up probably half of my budgie's cage but we'll make do! If you have a cage for smaller birds this is probably better for out of cage use. Comes with a small clip to hang. The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact the metal is showing at the bottom. Birds might be able to get their toes stuck in it so supervise when the bird is using it. Wish they could have made it to where the metal doesn't come into contact with the bird at all. But overall it is a good rope for smaller birds.You can use the small clip it comes with to hang a toy in the middle to make it more fun.
