But, with the right lighting, they still look nice by my Christmas tree. I washed them before hanging them and they still came out wrinkly, hoping that shakes out in time. Otherwise they are well made and very nice. I'm not unhappy enough with the color to return them, but the color is the reason I didn't give 5 stars. They have a great texture and look excellent I like the look and feel of these drapes. It would be inaccurate to identify these as blackout curtains since they don't completely block the lights. They might not work perfectly for a day sleeper, who needs total darkness. However, they do cut the light considerably, and seem to insulate well. The picture shows my office window facing west with directly afternoon sun in South Florida. My plantation shutters do not go over all the way to the top of the window so you can see the light pass thought the curtains.The price is fantastic. I found a similar product at HD but they are more expensive. This is the second set of these curtains I have purchased. The first set was for my office and this set was for my son's bedroom.
