This morning, I finally did a bigger test and tried to pull air out of 15 of the bags (new out of the box and therefore previously unused, with a spool of filament in them) with the hose attachment on a full-size floor vacuum cleaner and it didn't do anything on ANY of them, which tells me these valves are not working at all. It does seem odd to me that the first few bags I used worked okay (and have maintained great seals), but that other bags later have been failures. However, a few months in and maybe a couple dozen uses, the pump barely suctions.
