We measured her foot and my mother ordered these based on her measurement. She has a size 5, is 15 months, and has a 4.5 inch foot.These are great, she loves them, her toe is covered, and the zipper makes them easy to fit over her heel. We tried some sandals prior to these, but her toes kept getting hurt. I love the velcro strap too. However, this time I wanted to try a different design for her, so ordered these. But looks like she is not comfortable in them. The first day she wore them to her daycare, she lost her balance in class while going from sitting to standing and she fell down and had an accident (had to get stitches on her forehead).
