This shampoo is lightly scented and pleasant, it smells of honey, coconut, and sugar, and is very gentle on both the roots of the hair and the ends. I find the trick to keeping healthy hair is to remove excess oils without stripping the hair of it's natural oil completely, and by applying this specifically to the roots of my hair I find it to be a great product. The previous product I was using was becoming hard to find and cost 3 times as much, so I genuinely appreciate the gentleness of this shampoo while still working as I expect. My wife has very curly hair and she also finds this shampoo doesn't "frizz" her hair, but keeps it clean. I do have a single negative that I won't dock this product for: I have recieved 1 of my 2 shipments of this shampoo with a broken nozzle. The broken nozzle was sharp and jagged, I had to use pliers to snip the sharp edges and just pump it straight into my hand vs. the intended nozzle.
