**Q: Where was it made?**
A: China.  I think all of their stuff is made in China, with the exception of a set made in France (I believe it's the "French chef" set or something obvious like that).

**Q: Does this pan hold 1 qt. or 1 1/2 qts.? In some places, the size is listed as 1 qt. and in others, 1 1/2.**
A: Mine is most definitely 1 1/2 qts. I tested it with a measuring cup. Also, the packaging says 1.5 Qts and it's also stamped on the bottom of the pan. I think the website is messed up. I noticed when I was looking at it that it say 1 Qt until I clicked on it, and then it said 1.5 Qts. I read the reviews and saw that other people mentioned that it was 1.5 Qts so I ordered it, and they were correct.

**Q: What is the diameter of the lid?**
A: The part that fits inside of the 2 qt. pan is 7 inches in diameter.  The lip that provides the seal makes it a 7 3/4" diameter.

**Q: Does it have a transparent glass lid?**
A: Has anyone found a glass lid that fits well?

I use sauce pans to boil milk or make tea with milk besides other use. Every 3 or so months I have to replace sauce pans due to burning while boiling milk or reheating liquids. This Cuisinart sauce pan is the best I ever had! It is sturdy with heavy bottom. It hold temperature for awhile as well. I ordered a second pan since price was really a bargain for such good quality.
