Review: Great variety, definitely ordering more - Nice variety of shapes and sizes, that are going to look beautiful in my fish tank. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and I'm definitely going to be ordering more in the future. I put the wood pieces into a jug of water for several days to leech out the tannins. At the start, they all floated which was to be expected. Now, after almost a week the majority of them have waterlogged and are sitting at the bottom. There are a few stubborn pieces that still float but that's just the way it goes sometimes. I'll weight them down with rocks or something. As for the tannins, they definitely needed the soak. But it's been 24 hours since the last water change and it's completely clear now. So I'd say to let them soak for at least a week before putting them into a fish tank. Unless you want that black water look, of course.
Review: Beautiful pieces - The one piece is absolutely what I was expecting. Nice large piece. Beautiful grain/color. I love the shape and knottiness. The second piece was a little smaller than expected , but works well in my 20 gallon tank. I am waiting on some more plants to fill in the space. Overall I’m really happy with the pieces. I did boil the pieces first. I didn’t have a big enough pot for the large piece, so I used my roasting pan. I boiled it for 1 hour and flipped it, then another hour. I did this 3 times. The smaller piece was mostly under water each time, I did flip it as well to get the little edges. So it definitely got a good boil. Then I followed the directions on the little card that came with the wood and soaked them in a bucket of cold water, adding sea salt, for one hour. This did very little. I decided to soak it for 1 day or 24 hours. This pulled out more tannins. Then I changed the water and soaked for another 24 hours 2 more times. The smaller piece was ready after 48 hours of cold soak. It did not float. The bigger piece needed more time. After the 72 hours, I put it in place and anchored it with a netted bag of old substrate I was using to cycle the new tank. It took about another week for it to fully saturate and not float. A small amount of tannins were released into the tank water, so made the water a little dark, but not too bad. If I ever need more wood, I will order from them again.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall great driftwood
*by M***N on November 29, 2025*

Overall this driftwood was a great buy. The only thing I would say is in the pictures it makes it seem like this driftwood is way bigger but I do think it is way better then some other sellers out there. DEFINITELY boil the driftwood until you don't see much brown this driftwood carried a lot of tannins but you can fix it pretty easy by just boiling it. I definitely don't regret buying this I think for the price and compared to some other sellers it is worth it.
