I've had a band spreader before that was completely spring loaded and snapped nicely shut when you removed the button pressure, it was just so easy and quick to use. On this one the four fingers of the spreader are just loose hinged and flop wide open unless you keep a couple of bands around the base of them all the time. Even then, the tips of the four fingers 'cross' where they meet up and don't sit together as a point, so making them hard to get through the band you are actually trying to bait up. Couple that with other reviews on here saying that the bands themselves are prone to snapping and I'll just say Nope. Save your brass and put it towards some decent kit. ### ⭐⭐ ok but not the best *by T***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 July 2017* Not that good to be honest the bands snap after a few casts, but the banding tool is quite good its not the best quality but dose the job. For the price i would expect better oh well we learn that you buy cheap you buy twice although i wont be buying this again.
