Review: Long term review - I purchased 3 of these in November 2011, principally to monitor room zone temperatures on my central heating system. When they arrived one was a bit hit and miss to start up (one other reviewer I seem to remember returned a purchase due to this) but I persevered and after a bit of 'fiddling' all was fine, it seems to be the snug fit of the back that can cause a contact problem. They have worked fine for over 14 months now and I think they are an excellent product. When I first received them I was a bit suspicious as to whether they would each be as accurate as the other, so I kept them within a few inches of eachother for a week and after a initial few minutes they settled down to all read within .3 of a degree. Since then I have had one in each 'zoned' area of my house on top of the room stats. Without exception they all read consistently 1 degree lower than the inbuilt room stat digital display - I have erred towards the room stat not being as accurate as the'Duragadget' Fast delivery, easy to set up, long lasting and accurate an excellent product. Ocober 2020, it is now some years since I purchased thees and apart form a couple of battery changes all 3 have (and still are) performed perfectly- a great little product.
Review: Could be more accurate but no real issues with them. - They function perfectly well and user friendly, although not very accurate. Next to each other, one will read a degree centigrade different from the other one, and both are different from the one with the line of liquid in that I already had. So I have no idea which is right. But they do give an indication, at least, if the room is excessively hot or cold and you get used to what it needs to say in each room. (I have one in the lounge and one in the bedroom) I have health issues so I can't always tell if it's the room or me that is too hot or cold without checking so these are useful for me for that reason. They are small and fall over easily depending where they are. And you need a light on to see them at night as they don't have a light built in. But they are good enough.

**Q: Is the battery included?**
A: Just checked mine and the batteries seem to have given out after 4 years....

**Q: Is the display always on? I want to use it in conjunction with an ip cam to monitor my rabbits whilst I'm out**
A: Yes, the temperature is always displayed, though not illuminated/backlit, so won't show up on a camera if the rabbits are in the dark.

**Q: How accurate is it, I need something better than +- 1 degree C**
A: I have 2 of them. Comparing the 2 in the same room they are within 0.5 of each other

**Q: How long is the battery life?**
A: Mine have operated since Jan 2018 without battery replacement

Pack of 2, but the temperature varies by 1 or 2 degrees. The battery of one has already run out and its not even been a week. One used to bedroom for baby, so does th job, but not convinced on accuracy. Clear display and stands on its own
