Product Description With the OneTouch Delica Plus lancing device testing your blood glucose becomes virtually pain-free. Thanks to Precision Guidance Technology, the lancing device offers a precise and smooth lancing. The fine lancets are with silicone-coating for smooth gliding into skin. The lancing device is designed for more comfortable testing compared to the OneTouch Delica system. The OneTouch Delica Plus lancing device is compatible with the OneTouch Delica Plus lancets as well as the previous OneTouch Delica lancets. Use a new, sterile lancet each time you test. Before use, carefully read the Owner’s Booklet and inserts that come with the components of the system. Preparing the lancing device Remove the lancing device cap. Insert a sterile lancet into the lancing device and remove the protective cover. Replace the lancing device cap and adjust the depth setting. Cock the lancing device by sliding the button back until it clicks. Now you can test! Puncture your finger and apply the sample. Remove the lancing device cap again and cover the exposed lancet tip. Eject the lancet and replace the lancing device cap. Review: No issues with these, unlike some other brands. - I selected the OneTouch monitoring system some time ago for several reasons. Firstly, the App integrates into Apple Health, allowing me to share wia the Airmid App my Apple Health data with my GP's Patient Record. Second, and probably as importantly, each of the test strips just 'work' - you don't get tests failing and needing to retest with a new strip, unlike some other brands I've heard of. Sure, those may be cheaper, but the user will use more of them because of the repeated testings. I'll stick with the OneTouch series, thank you.
