And what can I say! They are absolutely perfect and fit the job to a Tee!Not only do they look (and even 'feel'!) realistic but the batteries (not supplied) are lasted well...since they arrived a few days ago I have had them on my tree 24/7 and they are still as bright and strong as when I first turned them on!These can easily be used in candle holders or even candle chandeliers, as well as anywhere else you would put a real flame candle....they look just as good yet without the heart palpitations that come with real flame candles!Plus if you are anything like me and like your candles lit at night for the ambient glow...and whilst watching that film fall sleep - candles still going - then you do not have to worry about burning the house down as these emit no heat....just a beautiful realistic candle flame glow ;-)I couldn't be any more happier with my purchase, even if the seller hand delivered them!They also turned up mega quick - the day after I purchased and before the estimated delivery day....which was a nice little bonus for me.And as expected - two of my cats - Zulu & Rainbow -were playing near the table and knocked one of the candles over with a hard bump and instead of my pounding heart trying to get out of my poor chest, I instead were able to laugh at their playfulness and just upright the candle...without a fire starting and the cats never got told off!Highly recommended - Wish I bought the 20 pack now...I think I will buy more come new year (Hoping they have a boxing day/New Year special :wink :wink)Thank you so much! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Scandinavian candles! *by D***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 November 2019* Superb candles, perfect for recreating that Scandinavian style of a cosy winter/Christmassy home. Impeccable service! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Could be so much more but there are no other better options at the moment :-( *by 2***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2020* These candles were good enough for what I needed and there appeared to be nothing better on the market - hence I didn't return them but only gave them 4 stars - but they could have been the bees knees with just a bit more design effort and thought. They have the potential to be a truly brilliant product - but the designers missed the boat with this one. Can someone design some that are better please, with the following comments in mind?1. Adjustable brightness? Nope - well, I couldn't tell the difference anyway - and they are too bright for candles in my opinion, even on the lowest setting - if it really does change settings when you press the button.2. The bottoms are quite fiddly to screw on - especially once the batteries are in - they do not line up well - there is not really enough thread there to get them started and hold them in place once the batteries are in. They pop open quite easily.3. These are really quite large candles and heavy - they do not really present the correct nostalgic feel that they should - ie I remember the real little candles that my parents used to put on their Christmas tree 30 years ago plus - completely different to these. These should have been designed to be used with AAA batteries - AA batteries are just too heavy - and big - I'm sure that it would have been possible to have used AAAs instead - and this would have meant that the candles could be smaller and lighter - my real Christmas tree struggled with the weight of these - the branches were very quickly weighed down and sank with the weight. The candles could not be placed anywhere near the ends of the branches as a result.4. The flickering effect could be a lot more realistic - it is not helped by having such a large artificial clear plastic flame cover on each candle - which completely fills with light with each flicker, unlike with some t-lights, where the flame seems to not just flicker, but seems to flicker from one side to another, in a softer, shaped flame cover - like a real candle would do. It makes each candle look like it has a bulb on top rather than a flame. There is no "orangeyness" to the flame either - it is too white - it is a warm white but too white! Perhaps the artificial clear flame covers could have been coloured or streaked or replaced with softer, shaped covers, or perhaps, the LEDs could have been slightly orange? Again, many LED t-lights seem to have this sussed perfectly.5. It also looks like there is a pattern to the flicker too, rather than it being completely random - but this could be because the whole flame cover fills with light?In short, I have a number of LED t-lights that when lit, from a distance, in the dark, you really can't tell that they are artificial - not unless you get up close to them. If this technology is available so cheaply and easily in a t-light, then it is all about the soft small artificial flame covers, the brightness and the orangeyness - so why can it not be used on these candles for a tree?As a further comment, once a battery had run down in a candle, if you didn't replace it, it was strange and fascinating to see that each candle would suddenly burst into life every so often - and would run down quickly and go off, only to flare up again a short while later - even if the set had been turned off.
