I cut the handle to about half. When you do this, the black paint cracks off so be ready to put some tape over the end.I used mostly the wide fan looking brush and the second to the thinnest tip brushes. The smaller brush worked well, but the fan looking wide brush would separate into 3 sections for some reason while painting. I did soak and warm up the brushes 3-5min per instructions before use.What I do like about the brushes is the softness of the hairs. No issue using the Parma Lexan paint with these brushes.Clean up was easy too.
