It squeaked terribly. I had to install multiple packs of this kit, at regular intervals and patterns, but it has worked amazingly. I focused mostly on the kitchen area which is linoleum, as that was the primary problem. The rest of the house needed only a few here and there and that is mostly hardwood which has more strength, rigidity, and cross pattern support. I had noticed that my kitchen has a reduced bouncy feel to it but once I was done it was more stable. Before buying I would look to see what pattern and quantity and area you need to cover.
