These mirrors need a smooth surface (yea, did a whole door and they all came down on me within hours) So I got some strong extra double sided tape, added that to the adhesive side of the mirrors and they are staying up without issue.Also, had to take down a set; a hand held hair dryer and a paint scraper did the trick. Takes about 2 minutes per mirror square to remove all of the sections.Don't expect them to be perfect mirrors, these are a thin layer of reflective material with a plastic cover. The area looks enormous now because the mirrors reflect the under counter lights. Take your time and be very careful separating/loosening, but not removing, the decals from its frame. Just separate slightly and do not remove from the frame. Only remove the paper backing on the decals you want glued to the wall. After positioning the entire square on the wall, pull off and remove the frame that still has the glue area covered. The decals should remain on the wall. Difficult to explain. It's almost impossible to work around the switch/plug plate. I ordered a second set to finish the kitchen counter backsplash.
