Neca Toys Action Figures - CARRIE WHITE (Bloody) (6.5 inch)

I was introduced to this movie last weekend February 2 2014 and you know most remakes aren't all that good but I found Carrie 2013 phenomenal Chloe Moretz did the character justice and brought the most realistic emotions to this iconic horror character, now to me the 1978 version of Carrie was decent but I honestly couldn't get into the character or the story which I was bored and went about my day but the remake was fantastic if your curious about the film highly recommend it. every one has different tastes in movies and I respect that so enough talking we are here for the figure. NECA has surprised me with there figures on how they look like from the film dragged them out turn them into a figure, with Carrie they captured her innocents but yet captured the monster what lies beneath now if you don't know who Carrie is she is an outcast from her peers, bullied and has a mother who keeps her in the shadows in religion but there is power that Carrie holds called telekinesis making objects float when she concentrates on them but sooner or later it will change the small town she lives in and everyone will know her at the end of prom night cause everyone has limits. so the figure itself is very interesting her dress in covered in a thin layer of glossy red paint to give that shiny look of fresh pigs blood that's been newly dropped on her leaving trails of blood dripping down her dress and arms. the sculpture on this figure is very well detailed you can see her bracelet and her corsage individually crafted even the strands of her hair is very impressive. the figure comes in a clamshell package that comes with fantastic art of flames licking the box. so if you're wondering if the figure looks like Chloe Grace Moretz I'm going to be straight forward with you and my answer it does comes very close but if you want to touch up on the figure that's totally up to you I've done it and I'm actually really happy with the results, I would recommend using lightning for the figure it really makes a huge difference, overall a unique figure to add to your collection that's for sure. Now many people have reviewed this saying they wish there were articulation in this figure as for me I wouldn't change it if your familiar to Todd McFarlane's Spawn figure's its basically the same thing just minor articulation but I will still recommend this figure if your a horror fan or simply a person who's looking for a unique figure definitely worth the money.Articulation: head is on a ball joint moves left and right to up and downHeight: 6my overall score: Bloody Brilliant Piece To Own

Bought this for my sister, whose a huge fan of this movie and classic horror movies in general. It made a great addition to her collection of classic horror figurines and models.

I like both figures I just wished that they had causal uniform Carrie as well.

I am a really big fan of this movie, so naturally, I had to have the figures! I personally favor this one more over the non-bloody one. My only complaint is that the dress looks like it's 2 different pieces. Other than that, they couldn't be more perfect!

NECA makes the before and after figurines of the Carrie character. This one is scary and looks great in display beside the pre-blood soaked figure. very cool if you are a collector.

See what I did there?I love the detail in this action figure. I have it still in the box pinned up on my wall as a decoration.The face is well detailed looking alot more like the actress Chloe Moretz than the Hit-Girl figure I bought to keep her company.I'm very pleased with this purchase.
