They seem well made and the knuckle guards don't cause any discomfort as I have often found before with this style of glove. The first pair I ordered as my usual XL size, and I had to return them as they were too tight and the fingers too short, I received a XXL and they are a comfortable width but the fingers are still a bit too short, but not unbearable, maybe I just have long fingers... Even so - definitely go for a size above your usual.As per the quality, I'll update as necessary... Up to now I'm quite happy with them.** UPDATE... nearly 5yrs on and I still love these gloves, after a few months, I had to sew one finger tip where the stitching came away, but they're still good.
