I hate the smell so much though! *by A***R on January 7, 2023* First off, this thing works great for cracked paws! It is so much easier to put on then some of the harder balm products and is great if you have a dog that isn't overly keen about their paws being touched. I only put it on once a day unless we go out in the rain or snow since my dog isn't a fan of his paws being touched and I've seen improvements in texture of his pads. They are looking better and I don't hear them scratching on my satin sheets anymore! Secondly, the smell. The patchouli in this product is overwhelming. I smell it all day on my hands and my dog after putting it on my dog. And patchouli is one of those scents that is impossible to mask. I am going to continue using it because it works great compared to the other product I was using before. The moment I find something that works as well and doesn't smell like this I will swap to that because I really hate the smell of patchouli and it is totally my fault for not seeing it was in the product before purchasing it. But if they come out with another version withba different scent, I will get that one!
