Unlike conventional gel colours, Colour Mill Oil Blend loves the fats and oils contained in your baked goods and uses them to distribute the special colour formula. The result is stunningly bright, rich and even shades that do not fade. It is particularly suitable for buttercream, Swiss meringue, chocolate, cake dough, ganache and sugar mass. It also works in flower pastes, gumpastes, modelling pastes, marzipan, cake mixes, pastries, icing, isomalt, spray gel, cake tip mixes and more. Not only will your cakes look stunning, but with Colour Mill you will also get more colour for your money. The high concentration means you consume much less than you normally would to achieve even brighter and more colourful results. You only need a tiny drop at a time to achieve the desired shade - we recommend using the end of a cocktail stick. If you use more drops, the colour will be more intense, if you use less, softer shades will appear. Build up the colour slowly as you mix your dough to achieve the desired shade. There are over 50 different colours to choose from, with each bottle containing 20 ml. The bottle is equipped with a dosing lid that increases dosing accuracy. Please note that the pigments used in each colour vary in weight. Some weigh more than others, but all colors are the same thickness and are filled to the brim. Colour Mill can be diluted with alcohol to make an edible colour. Please note that the colours may have a longer drying time due to the oil contained. Kosher certified. Shake well before use. Be patient, the colours will develop over time. Store in a cool, dry place and protect from sunlight.

J’ai utilisé le colorant alimentaire Colour Mill Hot Pink (20 ml) pour teinter de la crème mousseline destinée à réaliser un rosace cake en dégradé de rose. La couleur obtenue est un très joli pastel, lumineux et uniforme, parfait pour une finition élégante. Il suffit de très peu de produit pour obtenir un bon rendu, ce qui le rend économique à l’usage. Aucun goût parasite n’est perceptible, ce qui est idéal pour ne pas altérer les saveurs du dessert. La date limite de consommation est longue, ce qui permet de le conserver sans souci. Un excellent colorant : efficace, discret en goût et très esthétique.
