These are so cute. I did NOT know they are battery operated which it might say i just didnt bother reading it, not plug ins but it doesnt matter to me. I won't have to find an outlet.It takes 3 batteries, i BELEIVE AA (I forgot). They all work.These are going to add to my skull/pirate decor in my room. Love Love
