Trust. ### ⭐⭐ High expectations, slippery results *by M***. on February 28, 2026* I bought these because I've been looking for slightly bigger heatless curls, and I've loved every other Kitsch product I've purchased, plus this set is absolutely beautiful (hence the 2 stars instead of 1)- so I figured it must be worth a shot. I've been doing heatless curls for a long time with a lot of success, so I figured the other negative reviews *must* have been user error. Unfortunately, I was proven wrong. After multiple failed attempts due to my hair sliding off of these rollers, I think it is actually the rollers that are the problem. The satin is "so, so soft" as described on the package, which is lovely from a hair-health perspective. But not lovely for the functionality of this specific product. No matter how tight or loose, no matter how much I twist my hair or the rollers, or attempt to clip them together - my hair will absolutely not stay on these. I watched and copied the Kitsch influencers, thinking surely there must be something different about these rollers compared to others I've used. I did my own tried-and-true heatless curl tricks. I even tried bobby pinning these curlers into my hair after wrapping. No luck. Other reviewers mentioned putting a pair of fuzzy socks on the rollers to make them work because it increases the friction, which would probably work functionally, but for me that defeats the purpose of buying *these* rollers. I will say, if you have very long hair, you may have better luck, but my mid-length wavy hair would absolutely not cooperate with these.
