It’s helping a lot to understand where and how to shade with tattoo’s!

I thought this would be more of a technical teaching book, but it is kind of for kids

mostly a copy of The Ultimate How to Draw 3D Activity Book, don't buy both. author likes to cut and paste.

Good start for kids on shading teaches blending hatching cross hatching stipling and scumbling I thing this is a good step in sketching😁

This was nice to get the basics and try out some of the exercises. I thought that it was written well. I understood the instructions, as some books its hard to understand what they are saying. Typically some would lack clarity but not this one. Learned a lot as a first time artist was a great stepping sone into my artist path.

The Ultimate Shading Practice Book has easy clear directions for shading. There are five types of shading described in the book. It was interesting to read and observe the different types. It was also helpful to be shown which type of blending to use with specific objects. Blending seemed to be the most common shading. This book certainly can teach one how to add depth and contrast to one’s drawing.
