Even though it's thick, it does spread easily as I massage it into my skin but I sometimes warm it up with my fingers to get it so go on thinner. It takes some time to fully absorb but that might be because my skin is oily so I use this at night since I'm not in a rush.One thing I wish this came with is a tube key to go along with the metal tube.
