- EXTENDS INTO PLACE FOR A QUICK INSTALL: The expansion repair coupling repairs and replaces broken PVC pipe; use with 2 in. Sch. 40 PVC coupling (sold separately) to connect two 2 in. PVC pipe ends; solvent weld for a watertight connection

A: I saw that the product description says that it is indeed suitable for irrigation systems, you only need to buy a 1/2 product and it should be fine.

**Q: Is this certified to be Drinking water safe and low lead approved?**
A: It's PCV, plastic. We used it on our main waterline to repair a broken section.

**Q: can it be used on abs pipe with abs /pvc glue**
A: Yes, it is attached with PVC glue.  I also use primer first

**Q: Can this be used for pool plumbing?**
A: I used it for a sprinkler system that runs 50lbs of pressure.
