I actually use it as extra 'layer' for when it gets chilly, so more of a slip-on jacket than a shirt. For this reason, I tend to buy larger sizes to fit over existing clothing. I was dismayed when my previous shirt/jacket started to look tatty - until I looked up my orders and discovered it was three years old! (How time flies). As the previous one was good and had given constant, good service, I ordered the same again. I therefore have a direct comparison between now and then. This is where I get to my four star rating. I gave the first one I bought a five star rating, but since then the quality control has slipped somewhat. It is still essentially the same shirt in style and construction, but the quality has slipped. Interestingly, I notice other reviewers commenting on buttons and pockets. My experience is the same. The first time I donned my new shirt, I noticed one of the buttons seemed 'loose'. Sure enough, it was attached by one, single, solitary strand of cotton. Just one single loop of one strand of cotton. This meant getting out a needle and thread and securing the button properly before I could even wear the shirt for the first time. Similarly, within two days, the stitching on another of the buttons had unraveled. Out with the needle and cotton again. Another reviewer mentioned a problem with the pockets. My shirt is similar. One pocket is badly stitched so is smaller than the other. It feels strange to put hands in pockets, and one hand fits, but the other hand sits more shallowly. It doesn't necessarily matter, but just feels odd.In summary, this is still a good warm shirt for my 'extra layer' and suits my purposes, but offers some disappointment in this slip in the quality control, which if not addressed will give this shirt a much poorer customer perception than it deserves. I have sewn the buttons back on and have kept the shirt, so these problems weren't a show-stopper to me ( although I'm sure some will have, justifiably, returned the shirt for these faults) but I would make the point that one doesn't expect to repair a £20, new garment before it can be worn, and then effect further repairs within days. Hopefully it will be OK now, but I'll keep an eye on the buttons with the needle and cotton handy, just in case. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For the price - perfect *by B***X on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 January 2019* I rarely if ever give 5 stars, primarily because I doubt anything can be 100% perfect - but this is. For the price its staggeringly good value and is exactly what it claims to be. When I first opened out the package I thought it was vastly oversized, but it is just the bulk of the garment. The "fleece lining" isn't just an expression, it is true padded thick fleece and the rest of the shirt is equally well made.Size wise it fits perfectly. I normally buy XL, but given the nature of the garment I went for XXL and was glad I did. XL would have been too smallHighly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Twice the price & not so nice... *by U***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2014* I bought this knowing it was twice the price of similar shirts because the seller, "Socks Uwear" had had it listed as being 100% cotton.Needless to say, the description was totally wrong. In fairness, I was offered a full refund if I wanted to return it & the seller updated their site to show the correct materials used but, foolishly, I decided to keep the shirt as it did feel comfortable & warm.After just a couple of wears (I only wear it around the house in place of a usual sweatshirt & for putting the bins out) I've noticed one of the pockets is coming loose & some of the finishing is sub-standard.
