After cleansing my face in the morning, I apply a thin layer and then, sometimes, apply my base makeup(which has a sunscreen it) over it. And, then, at night, I cleanse my face before going to bed and apply again(including under my eyes and my neck). I've been using both the supplement and gel for a long time and truly believe it's very effective in nourishing and protecting my skin.
