This one is no exception. I got it because the o e on my boat trailer was getting pretty crusty from the salt environment. Now, this one is steel and has painted surfaces, so over time it may rust. However, I wash everything off after each use. The last one I had was also steel and it lasted 10 years, so this one should do just as good.
