Definitely use the color blotch page for testing colors and naming them to help for the actual color and shade when dries. Since they are alcohol inks, just be careful when coloring as they do bleed out a bit and may go outside of where you want to color in, or create. so testing the coloring and use of the pens would be advised. Honestly, these are great, and once you get to see and feel the pens and how they work, you can color and blend like a pro. i love it!
