Do you dry up when you stop?** A: No you do not have to take it forever. As long as you feed/pump you should keep supply up. If you slow down on feeding/pumping your supply will decrease as well. I use this until my supply is where I want it and then I stop. And I only have to use it again if my supply decreases again normally because I missed feedings or pumping sessions **Q: If I haven’t pumped and feel like I’m dried up will this likely work? I’ve tried struggled with low supply and tired other products and no luck** A: This stuff worked well for me! Pumping is a learned sport, trust me. I could only pump 1-1.5 ounces at a time. I started taking this 4 times a day for 4 days in a row and noticed a difference. Once flow tarted coming in I cut back to 2 times a day. I notice when I go a few days without it. I can easily pump 5-8 ounces now. Other things I did to help supply: drink 160-200 ounces of water a day. drink coconut water once a day for hydration and electrolytes, bought smaller flanges. Pumped more frequently. It took a total of 2-3 weeks to get pumping right and to a great "suction" etc. once I did all that, MUCH better. Good luck momma - its not easy! It literally SAVED me! I have nursed all my children with no difficulties. But after I delivered my 7th child this past March, we realized after a week that she had a very weak latch and was hardly getting any milk! She was losing weight fast, and it was one of the scariest things of my life. So I started pumping and giving her my breastmilk in a bottle, until, even with pumping, I quickly started to dry up!!! I wanted her so badly to have breastmilk, but knew that I was going to have to supplement with formula, maybe eventually switch to formula entirely, which broke my heart! I started researching safe herbs I could take to start producing milk again, and found this! I liked what I read, I liked the reviews on it (the only negative ones I found were from people who were drinking too much water with it, and it was not helping to increase their supply. Yes, it says on the bottle to drink plenty of fluids while taking it, but, contrary to what everybody's telling us, drinking TOO much water can be bad for milk supply, according to my lactation consultant!). Long story short, I ordered it, received it in two days, and started immediately to take it. After all, I was desperate for it to help my supply as fast as possible! But what I did not expect was that after taking half of the recommended daily amount (because it was evening and it hadn't arrived in time to take the morning dose), the next morning I pumped an extra ounce on each side in one sitting! And each day after, at EVERY PUMPING SESSION, I could pump another extra ounce on each side, until by ONE week later I had gone from being able to pump two ounces altogether in the morning in one sitting to 16 OUNCES altogether in ONE morning pumping session!!! Incredible!!! I've never had anything work so quickly and so well! I only had to supplement for the two days that I was waiting for it to arrive! If you have any kind of difficulties with low milk supply, buy this!!! Yes it is pricey, but that is because it WORKS!My daughter had my first grandchild on Monday the 20th. That morning after he and she were tended to, they were prepping him for his first meal, I gave her one dropper full immediately. I know it says it’s for keeping milk up, but I was curious if it could get her there faster. Later that day I gave her the second dropper, keep in mind this is still Monday. The lactation consultant told her that her milk would come in 5 days later, so all he was getting was colostrum, cool. That night I gave her the last dropper of the day. Tuesday we repeated this. 3 full droppers, morning , noon, and night. Today is Wednesday the 22nd of July 2020, she has full milk ladies! Her breasts are FULL of breast milk 😊👏🏽The dosing: The bottle clearly instructs that you must squeeze the bulb twice to get the recommended dose. It is okay if you come up a little shy of that 1.0 line. All we do is dose out the first one, if it is a little short we just get a little more. The dropper is clearly marked for proper dosing. You can not mess it up.The taste: My daughter tells me that the taste is pleasant and a tad sweet but not overly so. If you don’t like sweet things then this will not be for you, however, I strongly suggest that you truly give it a try. The product is that awesome!Water is a MUST!: Back in my day (I am 45 now so think back 28 years 😂) they only told me to drink tons of water to keep my milk up. But that was all, no supplements were recommended to me at all. This day and age there are hundreds of supplements, but none work better with water than this product. 1 full dropper is followed by a full 8 oz. glass of water 💧, more if you can or if you choose. That is it. And because of its very nice consistency digestion is easy.The overall: This is awesome. But I noticed that it actually had the opposite effect on me. It almost immediately dropped my milk supply and it also caused me to begin bleeding again (Almost like a period, but with no particular end date)...which is not normal for my pregnancies. I don't get my period when I'm breastfeeding. So I stopped using it.Well, we just had our 4th daughter and now that I'm back to working, I wanted to see if I could increase my supply a bit more to store extra for her. I still had almost the entire bottle leftover from our other daughter, so I tried it again. Before taking the NatalNourish, I was not bleeding and I had a very nice strong milk flow. After taking it for about 5 days, I have had a drastic decrease in my supply and I started bleeding again almost immediately. I think the product is essentially making me menstruate, and typically milk supplies drop while a woman is on her period. But as I don't ordinarily get a period while I'm breastfeeding, this supplement is having negative effects on my milk supply.I'm not knocking the product or company itself. I just think that I'm one of those women whose body doesn't react well to the ingredients in it.
