They dissolve super quick and are easy to gum, they're bigger so easier to hold for baby, and they last longer than the star-shaped puffs but seem very similar. My little 7-month-old LOVES them. I would still advise keeping an eye on them while they're eating, though, and don't give in the car or somewhere as they could be a choking hazard if they get too big of a piece or it gets stuck or something.
