It is THAT perfect for me! The designer of this poacher is a genius and must have spent a very long time poaching eggs the frustrating way to come up with this. When it came, I was surprised how substantial it was---high quality stainless steel. It works so perfectly and simply. I spray just a quick shot of coconut oil, crack my 2 eggs and drop them in, then salt the tops, put the lid on and set my timer. Wah-lah! Six minutes later my eggs literally slide out of their little nests onto my plate. Then I usually go ahead and make 2 extra poached eggs to put in the fridge---I don't even have to spray oil again. I am so dang happy to not be hassling with messy egg poaching or fighting a losing battle peeling hard boiled eggs that never come out without at least some loss of egg white. The Eggssentials Poacher produces two magically PERFECT poached eggs EVERY single time without any loss of egg, which is important because I buy the expensive organic free range eggs.
