I recently bought new sneakers with padding around the heel and ankle, and I noticed that the new Adidas socks I got were rubbing against it and sliding down. I ordered a pack of these to try out... First of all, they are very comfortable. They have the right amount of snugness on my foot overall. I like the compression in the middle. It helps keep the sock in place without being too tight. I must admit when I took the socks out of the package and saw the silicone strips on the heel portion.... I was skeptical. Once I put them on, I thought I would feel it on the heel. Once on, I forgot all about the silicone strips. All I can say is I've worn a white and a black pair all day while running errands, in the same sneakers that made the other socks slide down, and these stayed put. They were really stretchy. They were lightweight. I ordered and returned some other brand black socks because they were made out of synthetic material and felt like a weird synthetic stretchy material I didnt like. These socks are made out of cotton and are very breathable. They look awesome and you can barely see them with shoes on. Also, the seam at the toe is nonexistanct. I cant even feel it which is great. I already went ahead and ordered another package of these socks! For reference, I wear an 8.5 shoe and ordered the small size and they fit perfect! I'm adding a couple pictures so you can see they are low cut with a couple different sneakers. I highly recommend these socks.
