I have to say, they have really helped. The canopy feels secure and I am comfortable letting my toddler take a nap under neath our canopy now. They were easy and quick to add on. They are 5 pounds each, which means anyone can set them out and are easy to clean when they get dirty from being on the ground. We will be using these on all of our vendor canopies too!! I bought these corresponding with the canopy. All you have to do is pull them out of the box and lay them on the legs of the canopy. There's no need to fasten anything. I was surprised, they don't seem all that heavy to me, but they work. The day after I put the canopy up we had some storms come through with pretty hefty wind. These little weights saved my butt from losing my canopy. I was too lazy to take it down the night before!
