The top plates definitely have a correct orientation where they fit, but it isn’t marked. My biggest complaint is the instructions don’t even mention the bolt that holds the bag to the bottom plate. The instructions also suggest using a angle grinder to cut off the factory snubbys. I used an oscillating tool and it worked great. I sheared off one of the fill valves, but that was probably me over tightening.
