Upgrade to stainless steel and perfect offroad LEDs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome not-so-little pod lights *by A***Y on March 1, 2026* These lights are very bright. As in, very very bright. There are a few things to note when installing on the hood of a vehicle however: You’ll see light from the side of the light which can shine into the cab. This was fixed with black electrical tape covering the side piece where the amber cover clips on. Same deal with the amber covers themselves. When put on they can act like fiber optic cable where instead of just shining through, you get light shining back into the cab from the clip piece. Fix? Again, electrical tape on the pieces visible from inside the bag. They’re not small, but not big enough to impact window visibility. Colors look pretty good both with amber covers and straight light. I live in a rural area and i like being able to see possible objects or animals in the road. Important to note also, these are not technically road legal depending on location, projection angle, or local lumen output laws. I did receive one defective unit, which upon contacting support was replaced immediately with no problems. I’ve ran these things through the car wash and they didn’t break, so they’re pretty durable. I didn’t like the switch that came with the unit so i cut the switch cord and connected it to a custom switch inside the cab.
