I've been using it for a few months now and it doesn't leak, I don't have to hold anything down to drink out of it, the drinking hole is big enough to let me get a descent amount in a sip and doesn't funnel hot liquid into my mouth like a straw (2 different mugs I've had in the past did that) but it's also not so big I spill on myself. It keeps my coffee hot for hours, but not at scalding temperatures. If you're looking for something you can throw in a backpack, hike the Himalayas, and still drink hot coffee 20 hours later this is probably not the mug for you. But if you're like me and just looking for something to keep your coffee pleasantly hot from the house to the office, and then lets you comfortably drink said coffee at the office at your own pace, then I highly recommend this travel mug! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent insulated travel mug *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2018* Excellent insulated travel mug. It is a pleasant cup but I found it awkward to drink from however it pours into a cup fine. The lid screws on tight and holds during most bumps and upsets but is hard to unscrew. The hinged stopper is solid and stays tight.
