Review: Good little portable. - The screen looks good, operates as expected. It has some advantages over many similar models, in that it comes with the cables you need if you aren't planning on using it via the latest generation of USB C ports out of a laptop. It has a USB wall wart, like a phone charger, and comes with a mini HDMI to HDMI cable. Even more impressive to me, the mini HDMI cable fits snugly. So much so that I don't hate it the way I've hated every other mini HDMI cable and port I've ever used. This size and resolution make for good visuals with no perceived pixelation unless the image was meant to be pixelated. Color looks good enough out of the box. All in all, a nice little display, once you scale text to something that doesn't strain the eyes. That said, I have found it more fatiguing than may larger displays, but that's probably the reason one usually doesn't go back to a smaller display once you've upgraded.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Initial Excitement Led To Total disappointment

UPDATE: I would like to say that as soon as I wrote my review for the 14" MagicRaven 2K monitor that the manufacture reached out to me to make things right by sending me a replacement at NO CHARGE! I have travelled now 2x with my new monitor and have been wrapping that thing up in underwear and sweatshirts and it has traveled without issue. It is fragile but it is also a super thin monitor so I guess that is to be expected. Thank you MagicRaven for making things right and I do suggest this as it is VERY affordable and all you need to do is be careful with it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I spent a month reviewing portable displays for my pending work trip to London before I finally pulled the trigger on the 14" MAGICRAVEN 2K Portable Monitor. I work from home and have a setup with 2 large monitors on swing arms and was not able/willing to go back to a single laptop display, so I decided to invest in portable monitor. Upon receiving my monitor, I was more than excited. The monitor was easier than expected to setup. All I did was plug in the single USB-C cable that was provided and the monitor powered on, had a GREAT picture, and responded amazingly. I was hesitant to make the purchase because there were reviews stating that the monitor was fragile. I have a Briggs & Riley @Work backpack that has a ton of padding and spent 20 years traveling the world for work and never cracked a laptop screen so I figured I would be good. You can see in my photos the amount of padding and that I also packed it with the flat part of the screen against the flat part of my laptop. Good. Right? Not so much. As soon as I get to hotel in London, I tested the monitor, and it worked fine. I packed it up again for a short trip on the Underground to my client’s office with much less stuff in my backpack this time. I get to my meeting and pull out my monitor and it was CRACKED!!! (See Photo) I babied this thing for a 5000 mile journey and on a short trip with no explanation the thing seemingly cracked out of thin air. As much as I loved it the day, I pulled it out of the box I am unfortunately going to return this and look for another monitor. More than likely I will spend more on a Lenovo portable monitor as the reviews of those say how durable they are.
