I prefer my Mavic Air to sit in it's original case because the original case contains a center support that reduces the weight on your rear motors. IMO, the MA should never sit on a flat surface while folded because most of the weight sits on the rear motors. With that being said, this case is PERFECT to house both. Best of both worlds, double protection. Fits snug if you cut it right by leaving foam on both sides (see picture). Then I hotglued the cut peice of foam i cut off to make the MA fit even snugger vertically. Also, the remote fits pretty snug, so i cut out a small area where you grip the remote, making it easier to extract for your thumb. Not needed, but makes things easier. I shouldnt need to explain how these modifications were made if you check out the photos closely. (Scissors) Lastly, there is a perfect cut out to hide your spare props. 5stars for perfect amount of space, great price and of course the EXTREME PROTECTION of my baby! BONUS: by the handle, there is a cool name plate slot for you to display your owner information or production logo. It's small yet still holds everything that comes with the fly more convo which is why I chose this one because some of the other ones, that also cost more, don't hold the charger and etc. This case is built like a brick! Very solid feel to it, it feels like you could sit on it and it wouldn't hurt the drone. The latches have a very solid click, and it even has a pressure valve?? You can't beat this case for the price and I would buy again if I had too. The padding in this case is also kinda a solid but soft material, not like the foam that comes in other cases that feels cheap and can chip or break off. Case even comes with a cleaning cloth made by smatree to keep it clean! It holds drone, 3 batteries not including of you keep one in the drone makes it 4. Charger, props, controller, everything. It even has two tiny slots for the extra thumb sticks! Two memory card slots, and could probably hold your phone depending if it's under 6 inches. I haven't tried yet.
