Of course, there are always pens that are more pricey, which could mean higher quality, but even if you are new to fountain pens, this would make for a fantastic start. I would even propose this as being a wonderful gift to anyone. This pen writes so smoothly and the ink flows so wonderfully well. I've never had a problem with the ink leaking so far, but if it starts to, I'll update the review. I would definitely buy this fountain pen again. I would even go far as to recommend this pen to be your traveling companion; The quality of this pen just blows my mind. I had to go online to understand how to open it (pull or unscrew the cap) and how to refill it. It would be nice to have instructions included in the packaging. I found the website instructions less helpful (no images) than a video instructional I easily found.My teen child and I both love these pens. He likes that it’s unique these days and I like that it reduces waste by not purchasing disposable pens all the time. I also love the look of these pens.
