There you could purchase it in packs like yogurt. Unable to find anything in stores and prior to Amazon it was impossible to find for 20 years. I was able to find Dr Oetker at military commissaries and later Amazon, and when I saw Southern Gourmet I had to try it. It is better than Dr. Oetker imho.It is wonderfully fluffy and retains its texture better than Dr Oetker. I have made two chocolate cakes using this as filling and frosting and it is delicious. So much better than regular frosting.It is so unfortunate that they are available in 6 packs because I cannot stop eating them when I have them in the house, and Amazon is just a click away.
