I was told that this is one of the best probiotics by my doctors when I developed a C-Diff infection. Don't think for a moment that probiotics are a just a fad. They put back into your system the good stuff that C-Diff kills. I have been working on this problem for nearly 8 months and had it not been for probiotics in addition to the antibiotics used to kill the C-Diff bacteria well, I don't want to think of the consequences. They are not cheap, but when it comes to this affliction, price is no object.

Florastar is much cheaper if ordered on Amazon. It's the best probiotic and was prescribed by my doctor although it's over the counter now. My pharmacy charged $71 per bottle. If you buy 4 bottles on Amazon then each bottle is about $28. Once you have to take probiotics you should take them for the rest of your life (my opinion). (I had C-Diff)
