Works perfect on my little 8 pound Yorkie poo. Keeps her hair out of her eyes and all the wispies too. Keeps her topknot in place. Takes very little product, very easy to work with, is not greasy or sticky and very easy to come out. She tends to scoot around the carpet on her face and head, which usually makes a total wreck out of her hair. This wonderful product keeps everything more in its place..

This gel is really hard to work properly. This is going to sound stupid but seriously. My entire salon cannot figure out why this is so goopy. It doesn't spread well, very tacky, and goes from not being enough hair being super limp/frizzy to super glue hair. Wanted to like this product but it's a no I'll be looking at other dog hair gel.

My Yorkie is 1yr old now, she has had fly away hairs for so long...just waiting for her hair to grow! I have tried so many products before Pet Silk, which was recommended by my dog groomer. This product has been amazing! At first I found it hard to apply since it's a pretty firm gel, then I started heating it a little with my blow dryer - that made all the difference! I put her top knot in each morning, it stays all day. I reapply the next day and it hasn't created any build up. I will not use anything else! The container will last a long time, so it's worth the price. I am ordering a second one now to have in her overnight bag for travel :)

I have a big and wirey hair husky-golden retriever-poodle mix. His eyebrows will grow out long and cover his eyes so I got the hair gel to slick them back. It would work for about 5-10 minutes, but then if he start to run/jump around and play they would fall right back. His hair is very thick and heavy and I did not have it tied in a top knot, so I'm sure on other dogs it would work fine, it just wasn't right for him. I ultimately ended up trimming his eyebrows because nothing would work to hold them back. It did smell great though--like a professional hair dresser product. My scruffy boy is featured so you can see his hair length and texture.

It works okay....it has a slight yellow hue to it so it discolors my Maltese’s white hair but I need it to grow the hair out between her eyes.

Doesn't hold the hair

Works for a soft hold. You need to rub it between your fingers or palm like any other gel to smooth it on. Lasted through the night and the following day.
