They are also pretty small but I only need something roomy enough to carry about 12 small items with me when I go for long hikes in the woods, and these are perfect for my needs. So even though the compartment inside is large, you have to be able to put things in it, and it is more difficult with the smaller zipper. Please come out with the same product with a longer zipper, and more width of the main pocket. The fanny pack is 2 nylon fabrics thick, very nice! And a beautiful color, head phone jack opening, quality zipper pockets, and strap. I just wish the top zipper was longer. This is excellent and very light weight compared to competitors. The inside compartment is very long, but not as wide from front to back as I had hoped. The advantages of a smaller zipper and not as wide main pocket is that it is lighter weight, excellent for runners. For daily use as my main fanny pack, I prefer the competitor due to larger main pocket and longer zipper. Highly recommended for runners due to lightweight, durability, and water-proof capabilities compared to competitors.
