After testing I can confirm the Gt600 is a bit louder than the Gt500 at full speed. I have a 16” MSI vector with intel 12980hx cpu , 4080 gpu, 64gb ram and 2 ssd m.2 These coolers fit perfectly for this laptop, I would recommend flip your laptop over so you can see vents and position to foam over as a trial fit so you know roughly where to sit laptop on the cooler. So my take on this is, if your going to buy one and you want to spend least as possible, go for the Gt500 v2.
