I have used tubes of denture "goop" for the last 10 years I've had dentures, but was allergic to most goop out there! When I'd take my dentures out, I'd spend up to half an hour trying to remove all of the goop I used to keep my dentures in place. It was a nightly nightmare! I have poorly fitting dentures too, but this powder does an amazing job! My lower dentures stay in place for 6-8 hours, and the uppers are still in TIGHT after all day! I have to wriggle them around to get them loosened, because the first time I pulled them out, that adhesive took a spot about the size of a nickel of skin off the roof of my mouth. Now that's strong hold!!! And no goopy stuff to get out of my mouth afterward. The powder leaves the tiniest bit behind that's easily removed by swirling a bit of water in my mouth. Why cant you find it in stores any more??** A: I spoke to the manufacturer, GSK (in the USA). They said that (paraphrasing): "one of the ingredients had been unavailable so they had stopped making the product. They are now making the product again and it should be back on store shelves, in 3 months or less". I also did some research online and found nothing about lawsuits regarding the POWDER version of this product. **Q: is this for a case of them? how many in a case?** A: No, I ordered this thinking that it was a case (by how much it cost),but it was only one bottle! They charged me $26.00 so I returned it. **Q: Why only one bottle for 72.99** A: I did not pay that much at the time. When it went that high, I switched to Super Wernets. At the time I bought it,(Wernets), it was pretty reasonable, considering. I am not completely happy with it, but I refuse to pay 72.99 when I used to get Polygrip for under $5.00. **Q: How many bottles are being sold? (Maybe TOO well!) *by P***U on February 26, 2020* This powder works great--and as a bonus, it contains NO ZINC! However, the first time I tried it, I had a heck of a time getting my upper plate 'un-stuck' and OUT! So--- if your upper plate fits pretty well to begin with, like mine, be very judicious and conservative with the amount you apply!!! I had to rinse for a very long time with pretty warm/hot water AND mouthwash before the adhesive started to loosen enough so I could break the palate 'seal' and get the freakin' upper denture out of my mouth...WOW!. But it is truly a once a day application, keeps the denture completely and totally secure all day and also keeps food out.
