The syringes are plugged for sterility, so you only need to unscrew the bung and screw in the needle to use. Each syringe comes in their own plastic tubes keeping them clean and protected before use. This is quite a niche product which may have multiple uses in a lab environment however I have been using these to dispensing small amounts of coloured epoxy resin to detail my casts. After use, I plan to soak these in solvents to reuse them later on.
