A few birds obviously got it on their feet, than walked on the panels. So then I had to clean the panel. Not too difficult... But a hassle. * The material collects dirt! (Of course) So it doesn't look great on a light background after some time. WELL worth the somewhat unsightliness. My suggestion: use many very small spots. They will be less unsightly at a distance. The product is not recommended for windows. **Q: Will this work for woodpeckers?** A: Yes, it repels woodpeckers. I had a woodpecker come nearly every day this year and pecked/damage my cedar siding. I applied the Eaton bird repellent jell, and it has never since returned.
